By downloading, installing, or using DMClear ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App regardless of their location.

DMClear is a personal productivity utility that helps you manage your Instagram direct messages on your own device. Features include:

• Unsending messages using Instagram's own built-in Unsend feature
• Deleting conversations from your inbox
• Exporting chat history to local HTML or text files
• Unfollowing accounts from your following list

All actions are performed locally on your device and use Instagram's own existing features. DMClear is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

You agree to use DMClear only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with Instagram's own Terms of Use. You are solely responsible for:

• Your use of the App and any actions taken on your Instagram account
• Ensuring your use complies with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines
• Any consequences resulting from your use of the App, including account warnings, restrictions, or suspension by Instagram
• Maintaining the security of your Instagram credentials on your device

DMClear does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, Instagram credentials, message content, or account information. All processing occurs entirely on your device. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

DMClear and all associated designs, code, and content are the property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App without prior written permission.

Instagram, Meta, and related marks are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. DMClear is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc.

DMClear is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The developer does not warrant that:

• The App will function without interruption or be error-free at all times
• The App will remain compatible with future versions of Instagram's interface
• The App's features will produce any particular outcome on your Instagram account

Instagram may change its interface or policies at any time, which may affect the App's functionality. The developer will make reasonable efforts to update the App but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, messages, or content resulting from use of the App
• Suspension, restriction, or termination of your Instagram account
• Any damages arising from your reliance on the App

The developer's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree not to use DMClear to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code
• Use the App on behalf of or to manage another person's account without their explicit consent
• Resell or commercially redistribute the App or its functionality

The developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through App Store update notes.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based.
