DMClear ("the App") is a utility application that helps you manage your Instagram direct messages on your personal device. This Privacy Policy explains how DMClear handles information when you use the App.

The short version: we do not collect anything. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no servers receiving your data.

DMClear does not collect, access, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Your Instagram username, password, or login credentials
• Your Instagram access tokens or session data
• The content of your direct messages or conversations
• Your Instagram follower or following lists
• Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
• Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral data
• Any files or exports you create within the App

DMClear operates entirely on your device. When you log in, your credentials are submitted directly to Instagram through Instagram's own interface — DMClear does not intercept, read, or store them at any point.

All processing — including unsending messages, deleting conversations, exporting chat history, and unfollowing accounts — happens locally on your device using Instagram's own built-in features. No data is routed through DMClear's servers because DMClear has no servers.

Any exported files (HTML or text) are saved directly to your device's local storage and are never uploaded anywhere.

DMClear does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers.

DMClear interacts with Instagram solely through Instagram's own interface on your device. This interaction is governed by Instagram's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which you can review at instagram.com. DMClear is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

DMClear does not knowingly collect any information from users of any age. Since no data is collected at all, there is no risk of collecting information from children under 13.

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Because DMClear does not collect user contact information, we cannot notify you directly — please check this page periodically if you wish to stay informed.

Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
