Frequently Asked Questions
No. DMClear never stores, reads, or transmits your Instagram credentials or message content. Your login goes directly to Instagram's own interface on your device. Nothing is sent to any external server. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
DMClear only automates actions that already exist in Instagram's own interface — unsending, deleting, unfollowing. However, performing any action in very high volume or at unusual speed may be detected by Instagram. We recommend using DMClear at a moderate pace. The developer is not responsible for any account restrictions imposed by Instagram.
Instagram occasionally updates its interface, which can temporarily affect DMClear's automation. Please make sure you have the latest version of DMClear installed. If the issue persists after updating, contact us at dtb4121988@gmail.com and we will investigate as quickly as possible.
Exported files are saved directly to your device's local storage — typically in the Files app under DMClear's folder. They are never uploaded to any server. You can share or move them freely from there.
We monitor Instagram's interface changes and push updates to DMClear whenever compatibility is affected. Always keep DMClear updated to the latest version from the App Store for the best experience.
No. Unsending a message on Instagram is permanent and cannot be undone — this is Instagram's own behavior, not specific to DMClear. We strongly recommend exporting a conversation before unsending if you want to keep a record of it.
No. DMClear is an independent utility app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. in any way.
